Dear Friends,
Galena Tours began providing historic tours in 1980 with one small passenger van. Galena was just recovering from a serious economic decline that once hosted a very prosperous mining and river port town.
In 1993 a second tour location was added that once was a service station. This building was renovated to accommodate a tour office, snack bar, retail shop, and restrooms. In the rear of the building, a large space that was once used as a car wash and garage was creatively turned into theater for live performances.
In 2007 Noreen Brill purchased Galena Trolley Tours. Noreen has been in the trolley business for 20 years in Galena, operating as Brill's Trolley Tours. Noreen resides in Cuba City, WI. with her husband Tim Wildes. Tim's identical twin daughters Liz and Erica will graduate from Edgewood College in Madison, WI in the Spring of 2008.
Our tour business provides a fun atmosphere for over 25,000 tourists who tour Galena with us, and thousands who seek information here at the Trolley Depot.
Visitors come from all over the world. When they leave with a smile and a warm feeling, we know they will come back again...
