Tickets are $22 per adult, $10 per child ages 6-12, and free for children 5 and under with adult You can purchase tickets for the trolley tours by phone or in person at the Trolley Depot. The depot is located at 314 South Main Street. Tickets are purchased for a specific date and time. Tickets are non-refundable. Call us directly at 815.777.1248 for the most current ticket offerings. Advanced ticket purchase is not required, but is recommended.

Currently, you cannot purchase trolley tour tickets online. You may purchase in person at the Trolley Depot or by calling us at 815-777-1248. Advanced ticket purchase is not required, but is recommended.

Plan to arrive for your trolley tour at least 30 minutes before your desired tour time. This will allow you time to purchase your tickets in the Trolley Depot, use the restroom, and browse the gift shop. Some days tours fill up fast so plan accordingly. Outdoor seating is available.
Are the Galena tour trolleys open air or enclosed?
Enjoy the open-air tour trolleys in the summer and warmer seasons. Windows and coverings open during the trolley tour for the best viewing. The trolleys are climate -controlled in the cooler months.
Are children allowed to go on the Galena Trolley Tours?
Yes. Children are allowed to go on the trolley tours. Children 5 years and younger can ride free with a paying adult.
Is free parking available at Galena Trolley Tours?
If you arrive early, you can find free street parking near our Trolley Depot. Otherwise, paid lots are available.

Yes. You may take photos and videos on the trolley tours. Your driver stops frequently so you can take photos and videos directly from your seat. Or you may move around a bit to get a better shot.

Are Trolleys available to private rentals/charters?
Yes. Trolleys are available for private events such as: Weddings, Private Tours, Birthday parties, Bachelorette/Bachelor parties, and many other events. However alcoholic beverages are not allowed under any circumstance for the safety and comfort of all of our guest.
Are pets or service animals allowed on the trolley?
Service animals are the only animals that are allowed on board the trolleys. A service animal means a dog, regardless of breed or type, that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of a qualified individual with a disability, including a physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disability. Animal species other than dogs, emotional support animals, comfort animals, companionship animals, and service animals in training are not service animals.
Are your trolleys accessible for wheelchairs?
Unfortunately, our trolleys are not wheelchair-accessible. However, if mobility permits, there are just a couple steps with handrails into the trolley and we’re absolutely happy to assist you board and deboard the trolley.
